Course Overview
This course introduces students to the fundamentals and advanced techniques of trumpet performance. Learners will develop breath control, embouchure, tone production, and stylistic versatility across classical, jazz, Afrobeat, and contemporary music. The program emphasizes both solo and ensemble playing, preparing students for orchestral, band, and live performance contexts.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Develop proper embouchure and breath support for consistent tone.
Read and interpret trumpet notation accurately.
Perform scales, arpeggios, and etudes to build technical fluency.
Apply stylistic expression across classical, jazz, and Afrobeat repertoire.
Explore improvisation and soloing techniques.
Collaborate effectively in ensemble and orchestral settings.
Maintain and care for the trumpet properly.

Class Structure:
Diploma Students:
Duration: 1 year Diploma
6 months minimum, (Renewable)
For a Diploma in Music certification.
Course 1.: Choice instruments selected. (Major)
Course 2: Theory of music and Sight reading (Compulsory)
Course 3: (Ear training)
Course 4: MUSON/ABRSM Certification. (Elective)

Lecture Structure:
3 days a week (Mondays: 10am - Tuesdays: 1pm - Thursdays: 1pm)

Weekend Students:
Children : 9am - 12pm
Adults: 12;30 - 3pm
